Haysville School District is able to offer a half-day Early Childhood Program to eligible children who are three or four years old on or before August 31.  Families interested in applying, please click the link for more information.

Food Services

The Food Service Department serves more than 1,400 breakfast and 3,400 lunch meals a day. Food Service supports student learning by providing nutritious, well-balanced meals according to federal, state, and district regulations while maintaining a self-supporting program.  Click the link for more information on the district's nutrition program.

To help keep our students healthy and safe, Kansas law requires students attending school or a school-operated childcare program to meet certain immunization requirements (K.A.R. 28-1-20). Please click the link below to see the requirements.

Welcome to a brand-new school year in Haysville USD 261! We are excited to open our doors once again to the smiling faces, eager minds, and hopeful hearts of our students and families. Whether this is your first year with us or you’ve been part of our district for many years, we’re so glad to have you as part of our educational family.

Age Requirements

Pre-K: For Pre-K and early childhood programs, contact the Early Childhood Office at 554-2233.

Kindergarten: 5 years of age on or before August 31

1st Grade: 6 years of age on or before August 31

One Stop Enrollment

Centralized Enrollment for all new students to the Haysville School District for the 2026 - 2027 school year will be held at the Haysville West Middle School, 1956 W. Grand, July 23, 2026, from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and July 24 from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Families will need to bring the following items to enroll their student(s):

  1. Driver's License or state-issued ID
  2. Proof of residency [current utility bill (electric, gas, sewer, or water) with parent/guardian's name and student's address, or a current rental or purchase agreement]
  3. Certified copy of birth certificate
  4. Kansas Certification of Immunization
  5. Health Assessment Form for Children under 9 years old

What's Needed For Enrollment?

All families that are new to the Haysville School District will need to fill out the following forms and provide the documents that are listed below. To speed up the enrollment process, you may bring the completed forms with you, or they will be available at the time of enrollment.
