Prairie PTO members have been hard at work weeding and mulching the flower beds in front of the school. Thank you PTO for making the Prairie entrance look great!

PTO Meetings

PTO meets monthly meetings at 4 PM at Prairie Elementary. The dates of the meetings are: Sept. 12, Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 5, Jan 9, Feb. 6, Mar. 5, Apr. 2, & May 7.

 

Sonic Night

Eat at the Haysville Sonic on following dates between 4 PM - 11:30 PM for a portion of the sale to be credited to Prairie PTO: Sept. 12, Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 5, Jan. 9, Feb. 6, Mar. 5, Apr. 2, & May 7.

 

Skating Party Save the dates!

Sept. 20, Nov. 15, Jan. 24, Mar. 6, and May 15

The class with the most participating students will get a free Pepsi and skating pass on their next visit to Roller City. Remember parents skate free!!

Procedures: Students MUST have a signed permission form in order to ride the bus from Prairie to Roller City. Students will need to be picked up by 6:15 at Roller City. Permission slips will go home in the Wednesday folder before the skate night.

 

Needed: Yard Signs!

PTO is needing any old yard sign, garage sale sign, realty or election signs. We are going to paint and use them to promote things at Prairie. If you have any, please bring them to the office, or email Tiffany Graf, tgraf@usd261.com to make arrangements to have them picked up.

Volunteer Hours

PTO is doing the "Volunteer Bucks" Program again this year. If you donate items or your time to Prairie, you can earn "Volunteer Bucks" to go to the teacher of your choice. Teachers use the "bucks" to purchase items for their classroom. The teachers really love this and appreciate any and all volunteering you may do.

 

PTO Merchandise

PTO will be selling the General Store merchandise until it is all sold, flyers went home Wednesday.
