Are You Interested In PreSchool?

Just a reminder - It's not too early to think about our preschool classes that will begin August 2012! USD 261 provides a monthly Count Your Kid In screening for children at least 3 years of age. If your child is 3 or 4 years old and you would like to have his/her motor, language and cognitive skills screened, please call the Early Childhood office at 554-2233 to make an appointment. Your child must participate in CYKI screening to be added to the Pre-K waiting list for the fall classes.

Volunteers Needed

Join our local volunteer program: Positive Actions with Students, also known as Prairie PAWS. Enjoy the personal satisfaction of working with the elementary teachers, administrators and most of all the students. As a volunteer, you will bring your own experience and knowledge to our young people. Please complete the forms below and return to the school to become a volunteer.

Parents May Request Teacher Qualifications

Each school year, any parent who has a child attending any school receiving Title I funds may request and receive, in a timely manner, information regarding the professional qualifications of the student's classroom teachers. In addition, the parents may also ask whether the child is provided services by a paraprofessional and if so, his or her qualifications. Get a request form
