It's A Reading Celebration!

The book fair will be in the PES Library beginning Monday, February 13. This year, the Library is sponsoring a contest called "Live the Luau" to raise money for the One-for-Books fund. Students will vote with money for one of four adults in the building they wish to see wear a luau costume for the day, complete with grass skirt. For each $1 given the school receives $1.50 in books.

See Book Fair times in the monthly newsletter.

School Supplies

Many students will be in need of new basic school supplies by now, so make sure to check with your child about crayons, glue sticks, pencils, etc. Our teachers also need classroom supplies restocked, so make sure to check our Giving Tree in the front lobby. Your cooperation, involvement, and understanding has helped make Prairie a wonderful, learning place for all students.

Bulldog Pride Song

Prairie Bulldogs Show Pride! Show Pride! Prairie Bulldogs Show Pride ! Show Pride!

I'm prepared for class.

I can listen and learn.

My eyes are on the speaker

and I take my turn!

We do our work each and every day.

We don't give up. That's not our way!

I show respect to everyone in school.

Using kind words and actions

makes me real cool!

So make good choices and

have a great day.

Show your Prairie Pride in

your work and play!
