Don't Miss Prairie Family Night - September 21
Make plans now to attend Family Night from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Prairie. Each grade level will have a table set up to provide ideas for parent to use at home.
Don't Forget To Join P.T.O.
Join P.T.O. and help Prairie students! Three levels of memberships are available:
$20 Gold Membership: Voting rights, t-shirt and a dog tag.
$15 Silver Membership: Voting rights and a dog tag.
$5 Bronze Membership: Voting rights.
To join send your name, phone number and level of membership along with your money to your child's teacher. Mark the envelope: PTO Membership.
School Hours
A reminder that school hours are from 8:30 AM - 3:35 PM. There is no adult supervision available for students until 8:00 AM unless you participate in Latchkey services. In the morning students who arrive prior to 8:20 AM should enter through the front doors and go to the gym. Afternoon kindergarteners who do not eat lunch at school should not be dropped off until 12:45 PM. Thank you for your cooperation on these matters.
Family Rights and Privacy Act
As in the past, USD 261 will be releasing information and photos to the media throughout the coming school year of various activities and programs. Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, disclosure without prior consent is permitted by law, including the following directory information: name, address, telephone number, and photographs. You have the right to refuse to permit the release of any or all of the above information. If you refuse, you must give written notification to this effect to the Superintendent of Schools for USD 261, 1745 West Grand, Haysville, KS 67060 on or before Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010. If refusal is not filed, USD 261 assumes there is no objection to the release of the information designated or photos.
