Internet Safety for Kids

The Internet is a great educational resource, but the amount of inappropriate material that can be innocently stumbled upon while searching for information is enough to make us uncertain as to its value for our children's use. Below you will find sites that are ‘safe' sites for students and sites that will help you to become better acquainted with Internet safety strategies.

  • Cybersmart Kids Online is a community education project with the objective of providing parents and children with information and tools to help them have a rewarding, productive and safe experience of the Internet. http://www.cybersmartkids.com.au/

  • GetNetWise is a public service made available by Internet industry corporations and public interest organizations to help ensure that Internet users have safe, constructive, and educational or entertaining online experiences. http://kids.getnetwise.org/
