Let's help our troops! Bring the following items to E7 from now until Thursday, October 27 and they will be sent to our troops overseas: toothbrushes, crosswords, wet wipes, deodorant, soap, socks, cards, gum, hard candy, pens, paper, AA and AAA batteries, powdered drink mixes (singles) and handwritten notes. Our goal is 1000 items!
Who Are We?
"Kids Caring For Christ" is a community service club inspired by Matthew 25:40 which says, "Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me." The mission of the club is for the kids to serve others in our community.
When Do We Meet?
The club meets every Thursday morning from 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM in Mrs. Gamble's room (E-7).
Who Can Come?
All students are encouraged to come when they can for fellowship, community service, and free breakfast (please bring your own drink).
Our Projects:
Some of the projects the club has done in the past include organizing a coat drive for 1st Baptist Church in Haysville, organizing a food drive for the Lord’s Diner in Wichita, collecting donations for the Haitian tsunami victims, recycling aluminum cans and plastic bottles, recycling paper, putting on a talent show for the Haysville Healthcare Center, picking up trash in our community, making blankets for donation to “A Better Choice” in Wichita and the Haysville Healthcare center, etc…
