We are new to the area. What school should my child attend? — Please call the District Office (316-554-2200) to learn what school your child should attend. They will need to know your address and your child's grade level. Or you may visit our online district map.

How do I enroll my child in the Haysville School District? — Enrollment for the 2007-08 school year will be in August. All students new to the Haysville School District will enroll at One-Stop Enrollment, August 2, 2007 at Haysville Middle School, 900 W. Grand, anytime from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Documents needed for enrollment include a copy of the student's state certified birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence in the Haysville School District. Can my child ride the bus to school? — Free bus service is available to students living 2.5 miles or more from school. Students living less than 2.5 miles from school may pay to ride the bus. Contact the Transportation Department at (316) 554-2213 for more information.

What grades attend elementary, junior high and senior high schools?

  • Elementary — kindergarten through fifth grade
  • Junior high — sixth through ninth grade
  • Senior high — 9th through 12th grade

What time does school begin and end?

  • Morning kindergarten — 8:30 a.m.-11:05 a.m.
  • Afternoon kindergarten — 1:00 p.m.-3:35 p.m.
  • First through fifth grade — 8:30 a.m.-3:35 p.m.
  • Sixth through eighth grade — 7:40 a.m.-2:45 p.m.
  • 9th through 12th grade — 7:50 a.m.-2:55 p.m.

What is the 2007-08 schedule of holidays and breaks? — The school calendars on this web site show the days when students will be out of school.
