What's Happening

CHS offers many venues for parents and patrons to check out what is happening at school. Along with this website, a monthly newsletter and school calendar is available on the web, and daily announcements are posted here. We invite and welcome you to our events.

3rd Annual Swim To A Wish - February 27 - March 1

Five CHS boys will swim 20 miles each for a total of 100 miles with ALL money raised going to Make a Wish. This event will take place in the Campus High School pool. To send in a donation, mail to Campus High School, c/o Kelly Kennedy, 2100 W. 55th St. So, Wichita, KS 67217. Please make all checks payable to "Make A Wish". Call Coach Kennedy at (316)200-0120 or Coach Crum at (316)258-8077 with any questions.

Summer Driver's Education

Enrollment for Summer Driver Ed classes will be held on February 11 from 5 PM - 8 PM and February 12, from 8 AM - 8 PM at Campus High School. Enrollment will remain open until 52 students are enrolled in AM and 52 students enrolled in PM classes or March 2. If openings still exist, it will be opened to students outside our school district until May 19 (1st session) or June 15 (2nd session).

Applications are available at the Campus Counseling Office or at the Middle School's Counseling Office. These applications must be completed before the enrollment dates. The State Form will be filled out at the time you enroll. The cost is $250 and should be paid at enrollment.

 

Defensive Driving Class

There will be a 2 day Defensive Driving Class included in the summer Drivers Ed class and anyone who already has a Drivers License may also enroll in this part only for $15. They MUST have a Drivers License. This class will be offered on June 11 & 12 and July 9 & 10 for 3 hours each day.

Career Experience 2015 - March 11

The Career Experience is an activity specifically designed to assist Sophomores in career determination and planning. Professionals will visit with students about their careers.

To prepare for this day, planners are looking for Professionals to volunteer an hour of their time to promote their career. For more information contact Todd Hook at CHS, 554-2240 or thook@usd261.com. A complete list of career volunteers needed is printed in the February Newsletter.
