CHS offers many venues for parents and patrons to check out what is happening at school. Along with this website, a monthly newsletter and school calendar is available on the web, and daily announcements are posted here. We invite and welcome you to our events.
Students will be presenting THE ADDAMS FAMILY - A NEW MUSICAL on November 14 and 15 at 7 PM at the Mane Stage Theatre. Doors will open at 6 PM for a performance by the Mane Stage Maniac Improv Team. Tickets are $5 at the door. The rights to the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY were only released in June 2014 and CHS will be one of three high schools throughout the state to premiere this exciting show.

A long-standing tradition at CHS is the Girls Powder Puff game. CHS female athletes accept the challenge of learning new skills to compete in the annual flag football game. Teams are created based on the number of players from each grade level.
The flag football season starts with required practices the week of November 10-13 (Buffer Week). Players must attend at least three practices in order to play in the game on November 14 during seminar. Since this is a Student Council fundraiser, game admission price of $2 per student. Class of the Year points will be awarded for participants and spectators. All proceeds from Powder Puff go towards the StuCo Winter Wishes Campaign!
The Annual National Honor Society Blood Drive is scheduled for Friday, November 21, from 8 AM - 2 PM. You must be 16 years or older and there is a weight requirement. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Contact the counseling office for an appointment or questions, 554-2240.
October 27th, the Campus Robotics team completed against twenty-three other school in the B.E.S.T. Robotics competition. The team was awarded first place for saving the most prairie chickens, second place for t-shirt design, and fourth for the overall B.E.S.T award. The B.E.S.T. score is a compilation of the scores the team received for their notebook, team presentation, booth presentation, spirit and robot. Campus will be traveling to Fort Smith, Arkansas to compete at regionals December 4th through the 6th. See more in the November Newsletter.
