CHS offers many venues for parents and patrons to check out what is happening at school. Along with this website, a monthly newsletter and school calendar is available on the web. We invite and welcome you to our events.
The Mayor's Youth Leadership Council is a new initiative from the Office of Haysville Mayor Bruce Armstrong and is being created to increase awareness and involvement of the Haysville Community youth in city government and in the community at large. Members receive hands-on experience in local government by meeting with the Mayor and working with city staff and local leaders. It is the purpose of this Council to develop, implement, and participate in a variety of youth-identified community programs, projects, and events. Applicants must currently be in the 8th - 11th grades.
A big congratulations goes out to the Campus High Varsity Girls Bowling team for their 1st place finish at the State Bowling competition. The State Championship team consisted of: Alyssa Magee, Britani Magee, Kalina Feast, Cami Mills, Madison Taylor, and Jordyn Wattman. Their combined team score of 2484 was nearly 200 points higher than the 2nd place Wichita East. Finishing in the top 20 individual winners were Alyssa at 15th, Cami at 14th, Brittani at 6th, and Madison at 5th. Brady Parks was the lone bowler from the boys’ team to compete at the state competition. He did not place in the top 20 but bowled very well. Way to go CHS Bowlers.

Kaitlynn Snell, an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) senior was selected to be a student speaker at the 2015 Dallas AVID Summer Institute. She'll be speaking to over 2,000 teachers on the impact that AVID has had on her life. She was selected out of more than 1,200 speaker contest entries and will be awarded $500 as well as hotel and travel accommodations.
Enrollment for Summer Driver Ed classes will remain open until 52 students are enrolled in AM and 52 students enrolled in PM classes. If openings still exist, it will be opened to students outside our school district until May 19 (1st session) or June 15 (2nd session). The cost is $250.
Defensive Driving Class
There will be a 2 day Defensive Driving Class included in the summer Drivers Ed class and anyone who already has a Drivers License may also enroll in this part only for $15. They MUST have a Drivers License. This class will be offered on June 11 & 12 and July 9 & 10 for 3 hours each day.
