HOBY Ambassador Selected

Campus High School is pleased to announce Morgan Wegner has been selected to represent our school as the Hugh O'Brien Ambassador for the 11-12 school year. Morgan was selected by a committee to attend one of the 70 leadership seminars throughout the United States; last year HOBY programs took place in Canada, China, South Korea, Mexico, Phillippines, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Over 9000 outstanding sophomores participated in seminars last year designed to provide networking and leadership skill development that focus on the importance of community service. Morgan will attend a seminar June at Wichita State University. Since 1958, more than 375,000 students have been selected to be HOBY Ambassadors. Victoria is the daughter of Michelle and David Wegner of Wichita.

A Christmas Carol Receives HONORS!

Congratulations to Campus Mane Stage Theatre & Thespian Troupe #573! The production of A Christmas Carol was chosen as one of the top scoring production for the state of Kansas by the Thespian Kansas Chapter. Campus tied for 1st place, and are now slated to perform January 21st at 7:30 PM on the Century II Main Stage during the Thespian Conference. This is the first time in Campus' 50 year history of theatre that the program has made the top four in the state.

HOBY Ambassador SelectedGuerra

Victoria Guerra has been selected to represent Campus High School as the Hugh O'Brian Ambassador for the 2010-2011 school year.

 

Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) was founded in 1958. HOBY's mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and voluneers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students.

 

Last year HOBY programs took place in the U.S., Canada, China, South Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. More than 9,000 outstanding sophomores participated in seminars last year designed to provide networking and leadership skill development that focus on the importance of community service. Since 1958, more than 375,000 students have been selected to be HOBY Ambassadors.

 

Victoria will attend a seminar June 9-12 at Wichita State University. She is the daughter of Sherri and John Guerra of Haysville.
