Last Day of School - May 21 - Welcome Summer Carnival!
On the last day of school for Tri-City, the students will enjoy our third annual "Welcome Summer" Carnival. There will be a variety of carnival games and bingo. The students will have a cook-out lunch, including hamburgers, chips, cookies and drinks.
Enrollment 2012-2013
Tri-City students will receive enrollment information from their "home school" or your neighborhood school during the summer. When you enroll your child in his/her "home school", they will notify us to let us know that we can expect to see your child back at Tri-City. You can also expect to see an enrollment packet from Tri-City as we will need to update all of your child's information. At this time you will receive a school calendar, school supply list, etc. This packet will be sent during the month of July.
Summer Tri-City Office Hours
Nichole will be at school through May 31. Mrs. Keirns will be in and out of the office through June 15. Please email gkeirns@usd261.com if you have any questions throughout the summer. The office will reopen August 1.

On-Site Medication Checks
Nancy Ballinger with COMCARE, will visit Tri-City once a month for medication Checks If you have not previously signed up for this service, and are now interested, you may speak to Jennifer Arellano at 554-2324.
Monthly Book Orders
Tri-City Day School encourages students to read outside of school. Once a month a book order form will be sent home with your child. The prices in these book orders tend to be a little more reasonable than the traditional book fairs. Books for levels K-12 will be available. The school will receive free books and points to purchase additional books from the students' purchases. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
P.B.I.S. - Positive Behavior Intervention & Support
Tri-City has implemented this program into our daily schedule. Each week the students are asked to state the definitions to "Pride". For each correct letter, the students earn one white loop. If he/she states all letters correct, a set of green, yellow and white loops are awarded. The loops are collected by each homeroom for a monthly reward party.

Help Our School Through Shopping
Box Tops for Education
Please help us out! Just clip the box top and send it to school with your child. Tri-City earns approximately $100 a year that we use to help purchase education tools for our students and fund activities and field trips. Visit www.boxtops4education.com for a list on on-line shopping that earns box top points.
Dollar$ For School$
Tri-City Day School has registered to participate in the Dollars for Schools program being offered by Homeland Stores and Lawton Country Mart stores. This program will enable us to earn cash for our school to be used to provide our students with things above and beyond what are regular budget will allow. To credit your purchases towards Tri-City, have the cashier key in ID number 64002 before scanning your card. At this point, all future purchases will automatically go towards our school if you scan your Homeland card.
Coca-Cola Products
Tri-City is eligible for the point program through Coca-Cola. We will be able to enter the codes that are found on Coke products into an "online bank" and collect points to earn items for our school. The codes are found inside the lid of bottles or inside the boxes of cardboard containers. Please send these items to school with your child.
