Star Polisher Award
This is an opportunity for staff, parents, students and others to recognize staff members and school volunteers who go above and beyond the normal job responsibilities and expectations. Documents are provided in Adobe Acrobat Format.

Guidelines for Submitting Nominations: Nominations are now being accepted for USD 261's Spring 2010 Star Polisher Award. The deadline to submit your nomination is 4 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010. The award ceremony will be held at the Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, May 17, 2010 at The Learning Center.
USD 261 employees must first submit completed nomination forms to their principal or supervisor. Nominations by parents, volunteers and students may be sent directly to the Star Polisher Committee at the email address below.
Nominations made for Fall 2009 that were not selected for an award may be re-submitted with approval from the nominator’s principal or supervisor.
How to Submit Nominations: This year the form is a PDF to be completed online, saved to your desktop and printed for your principal or supervisor. To save the PDF nomination form, just click on the "disk" icon on the Acrobat Reader toolbar or go to "save as" under "File" on your toolbar.
After your principal or supervisor has approved the nomination, then attach the PDF to an email message and send to lhames@usd261.com. Please print a hard copy and send to Liz Hames at the Administration Building.
Star Polishers Fall 2009
The Star Polisher Award program is a district-wide recognition effort to celebrate and honor outstanding service by volunteers, employees and school partners to the students of the Haysville School District.
