What is S.P.A.R.K.?

Supporting Participation in Academics and Recreation for Kids!

S.P.A.R.K. is a before and afterschool program available to Middle School students in Haysville USD 261.

We offer our students:

  • homework and tutoring assistance
  • sports and recreation
  • arts and crafts
  • performing arts
  • service learning and leadership opportunities
  • field trips
  • social events
  • guest speakers
  • use of ipads, laptops, and computers
  • game room with ping pong, air hockey, pool, video games and Pac-Man Arcade machine
  • snack each day

S.P.A.R.K. meets during the school year with the Before and After School Programs. S.P.A.R.K. also offers a Summer Program for middle school students.

The S.P.A.R.K. program's Homework Site Coordinator will monitor grades and missing assignments and coordinate with school day teachers to assist your student in achieving their academic goals.

Program Options and Fees

BEFORE SCHOOL
PROGRAM

$7500year

  • HMS students only
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 6:20 AM - 7:20 AM
  • Homework & tutoring help only, with an option for breakfast at 7:20 AM.

 

AFTER SCHOOL
PROGRAM

$15000year

  • HMS and HWMS students
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Transportation provided from HWMS and home for all bus eligible students.

 

SUMMER
PROGRAM

$15000entire summer

  • Any USD 261 Student entering 6-8 grade
  • Monday - Thursday
  • Hours: See Flyer
  • Transportation available for bus eligible students.
     

Payment Options: Payment arrangements are always available. Contact us for options. We NEVER want cost to stand in the way of enrollment. We will work with you as long as regular payments are made.
