Parent Notifications
USD 261 Haysville is carefully monitoring reports about H1N1 from the Sedgwick County Health Department and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Given the number of reported cases of seasonal flu and H1N1 in our area and the fact that health and safety precautions for each are the same, USD 261 will no longer send home individual influenza (flu) notification letters to parents/guardians.
Please remember the importance of good hand washing to prevent any illness. Also, while attendance is important, keep your child at home when your child is sick and
until fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
