We are new to the area. What school should my child attend? — Please call the District Office (316-554-2200) to learn what school your child should attend. They will need to know your address and your child's grade level. Or you may visit our online district map.

 

How do I enroll my child in the Haysville School District? — All students new to the Haysville School District at the beginning of the school year will enroll at New Student Enrollment. Throughout the school year, new students to the district will begin the enrollment process at the Superintendant's Office, located at 1745 W. Grand. Documents needed for enrollment include a copy of the student's state certified birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence in the Haysville School District. Please visit the admissions web page for details regarding documents and fees.

 

Will my child ride the bus to school? — Free bus service is available to students living 2.5 miles or more from school. Students living less than 2.5 miles from school may pay to ride the bus. Contact the Transportation Department at (316) 554-2213 for more information.

 

What grades attend elementary, middle school and high school?

Elementary — Pre-kindergarten through 5th grade

Middle School — 6th through 8th grade

High School — 9th through 12th grade

 

What time does school begin and end?

Morning Pre-K and Kindergarten — 8:30 a.m.-11:05 a.m.

Afternoon Pre-K and Kindergarten — 1:00 p.m.-3:35 p.m.

1st through 5th grade — 8:30 a.m.-3:35 p.m.

6th through 8th grade — 7:40 a.m.-2:45 p.m.

9th through 12th grade — 7:50 a.m.-2:55 p.m.

What programs are provided for students with special needs? — There are a number of services for students with special needs. Contact the Special Services Department at (316) 554-2222, or visit the Support Services web site.
